The landmark exhibit, which was dubbed Tibet Treasures from the Roof of the World, featured almost 200 priceless objects drawn exclusively from collections from the Potala Palace, as well as the recently established Tibet Museum in Lhasa. The 200 pieces of treatures were shown at four famous museums around America from October 12, 2003 to September 11, 2005. Though the exhibition was dropped its curtain, the rare, sacred and dazzling treasures of Tibet, never before seen in the Western World had attracted a lot of audiences during the two-year national tour.
